 Rendering of Object


    This week we were tasked to render our object in a new program called Rhinoceros. Using last week's object after being finalized in Meshmixer, I imported the object into Rhinoceros and learned how to render the object using different lighting styles and material properties.
The most enjoyable part about this assignment was getting able to play around with the different materials. I was really excited to be able to make the magma pouring out of the planet's core be able to glow! However, I couldn't figure out how to "paint on" separate colours onto the Earth's surface, so in the end I just made it all green.
